Every December, people are busy attending Christmas or year-end parties which almost all companies and organizations celebrate. Last month, we celebrated CDO Bloggers Inc. Christmas Party 2015 held at Boy Zugba, a Filipino Restaurant. The place is located at Corrales Avenue, Cagayan de Oro City.
It was my first time to go inside Boy Zugba. If you look outside of the restaurant, you might say it is a small food place but when you go inside, it has a lot of tables for people to dine in. Who would’ve thought that they even have function rooms to accommodate gatherings like our Christmas Party. Currently they have 3 function rooms: Function Room 1 (60 pax), Function Room 2 (40 pax) and Boodle Room (20 pax).
They have a lot of dishes for you to choose from to satisfy your Filipino food cravings. The food that I ate are Chicken Inasal, Pancit sa Pulis, Bandihadong Karne and Leche Flan. The Bandihadong Karen consists of Pork BBQ, Chorizo and Liempo.
I should say that Pancit sa Pulis is not what you think of the ‘normal’ pancit. You may say that it looks like the pancit served by other restaurants. But mind you, you really should try it (should with caps).
Another thing that caught my palate is the Cheezzy Chorizo. Again, you’ll think it’s the same with other chorizo. I don’t want to go in details here but it’s a must-try. The combination of the meat and the cheese is just …! Argh! I can’t think of a word to describe it, haha!
What I didn’t expect the most is the Leche Flan. I wasn’t mesmerize by it but I got one for the sake of having a dessert. I even said to myself, “the upper part of the flan is like an oil or something.” But voila! It was delicious! While eating it, I even blurted out to some of the members that it’s included on my ‘comfort food’ list.
Enough of the chit-chat, here are some pictures I have from the event:
We played games and had our exchange gifts. We had so much fun during our party! Of course, it wouldn’t be more fun if it weren’t for our gracious sponsors: Boy Zugba (for the venue), Krispy Kreme and Jollibee. Thank you for taking good care of us! ☺
The night isn’t complete without pictures. Here are the ladies’ groufie!
Cagayan de Oro Bloggers, Inc. official members (some are not present at this time).
Before we end up our party, we elected the new set of officers for the 2016 term. There will be another blog post for that once the new officers are officially inducted. Let me congratulate the newly elected officers for 2016!
Thank you to everyone who supported our organization last 2015. May we have a blessed 2016! ☺
