Two days ago, I started watching the KDrama (in short for Korean drama), Prime Minister and I. I stayed away from KDrama for a while because when I started to watch it, I simply can’t stop myself. I usually get to sleep on wee hours just to watch every episode until the end. For this drama, I watch it for 2 nights (and less sleep, LOL!). But I love watching these KDramas because it is one of my stress reliever.
By the way, if you’re gonna ask me where I watch this very nice drama. Just message me on my Facebook page and I’m gonna tell it to you. Or you can search it online, type the title and voila, you can watch it right away. Here’s the plot of the story.
Kwon Yul (Lee Beom-Soo) is South Korean’s youngest Prime Minister who works very well at his office. He alone struggles to raise his three children and has 0% skills in parenting. While Nam Da-Jung (Yoona) works enthusiastically as a reporter of Scandal News but ends up missing big scoops. One day, she gets into a scandal with the Prime Minister and to save him from this issue, she confesses to everyone that they are dating. In order for them to keep the Prime Minister from politics issues and scandals, they agreed to have a “contract” marriage. Da-Jung enters the Kwon’s household and becomes an affectionate mother to his kids and eventually touch their hearts. Thus, the beginning of their love story.
Here are some of the lines and quotes from the drama:
Resentment can’t get rid of misfortune, and atrociousness can’t stop rage. Therefore, the person who saved me is thee. You came to visit me when I couldn’t fall asleep. My Scheherazade. ~One Thousand and One Nights (The Arabian Nights)
Just go, it may be a road that leads back, but if you have a purpose, you will reach your destination eventually. And a road is made only when someone takes it. ~Nam Da-Jung, Prime Minister and I
My ratings: 3.8 out of 5 stars
This is a whole new drama for me. It tackles about love, family relationships, friendship, politics, communication, respect and moving forward in every situation. That is why I like this drama very much (isn’t it obvious?). You might be wondering why I like the drama and yet my rate is 3.8. I rated this because of the ending part. Although the drama itself made me smile, make my heart flutter, gave me a big laugh and cried on some point, I kinda want more of it. The ending part is nice, but I know they could have show to us a preview of future events or at least some pictures. I want to see what becomes of their love story and the three kids. Did the real wedding took place? Did they go to the movies together and grocery shopping? Have the kids finally called Da-Jung as their Omma (Mom)? And questions like that. I guess these questions are normal if you came to the final part of the drama.
Well, that’s my share of the drama. What about you? What’s the KDrama that you’ve watch these days? Please do share it on the comment box. 🙂
I watched the drama twice, yes twice! LOL! 😀
